About Aimee Hestera, MA, LPCC , NCC
I’m here to help you rediscover connection in your relationships.
I’m a Colorado-based therapist inspired by my own personal journey of pain, resilience, and healing. I have faced my own adversities and now help others navigate life’s challenges. I am committed to empowering individuals and couples to overcome their struggles and experience renewed healing and connection. I am an advocate for personal growth and wellness and encourage my clients to reach their fullest potential.
I am a Colorado native and grew up in Jefferson County, Colorado. I attended college in Fort Collins, and got married shortly after graduation. I have been married for thirty years. My faith has been the foundation of a strong marriage. I believe God promises an abundant and joyful life.
Outside of my professional life, I am devoted to my husband and adult children. I enjoy being in nature, which helps me find restoration and balance. My hobbies include reading historical fiction, learning about gardening, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
Change isn’t easy (even when it’s “good”).
I want you to know that the benefits you obtain from therapy depend on how well you use the process and put into practice what you learn.
You're here because you want a fresh perspective on a difficult problem or stressful circumstance.
People have many different motivations for seeking therapy. You are ready to create your best future in response to life challenges.
Therapy provides long-lasting benefits, giving you the tools to avoid triggers, re-direct damaging patterns, and overcome whatever challenges you face.
How I work:
At the core of my approach to therapy is a belief that by attaining more self-awareness growth happens.
I am committed to providing a nurturing and understanding environment where you can explore and overcome life’s emotional and relational challenges.
